Used football boots appeal

The photo at the top of this page was taken in November 24, in a village very close to the capital city Kigali
As you can see, the kids are smiling and having fun - making the most of life
You can also see what they are wearing, both their clothes and on their feet.
That wasn’t their football kit - that was it, that’s all they have. Yet they get on with life with a smile, like all Rwandans we meet
We’re going back in June 2025 and we’d like to take this village a large bag of football boots, maybe two.
And 4 other villages just like it
We’re asking for schools and football clubs to help us with this, in May 2025
Throughout the month of May please ask your pupils or players to donate their old boots, which we will collect at the end of the month (or you could bring them to us)
We’ll also gladly take of the following used items as well:
Shin pads
Goalie gloves
Football socks
Replica tops and shorts
